Is there a hotel room block?

Yes, please see further details on the Accommodations tab.

Is CDMX (Mexico City) safe?

The neighborhoods that you will be frequenting (Juarez, Condesa, Roma, Polanco) are considered to be very safe. You should feel safe walking around during the day. Beyond that, take the same precautions you would take in any other large city.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors. The ceremony and reception take place at the same venue.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

We love kids, but for our wedding ceremony and reception, we’ve decided to limit our guest list to older children and adults. We hope this allows our guests to fully relax and enjoy the day with us. If you'd like to make your Mexico City visit a full family affair, children are welcome to join us at both of our pre-wedding events. If you need help arranging childcare during the ceremony and reception, don't hesitate to reach out! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

What will the weather be like?

Pleasant! Expect highs in the mid-70s °F (24 °C) and cooler evenings around 55 °F (13 °C). October is the end of the rainy season, so a light wrap or shawl is smart. You'll want to prepare yourself for the high elevation – Mexico City sits about 7,382 feet above sea level – remember to drink plenty of water.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

We strongly recommend bringing a pair of comfortable walking shoes if you are exploring Mexico City - there is so much to see and do best done by walking. For the ceremony/reception venue, stiletto heels are not recommended. The gardens have uneven terrain.
